ALBANY, March 19, 2009 — Thomas Griffen, Esq. and Kevin Roe, Esq. led a panel discussion on Real Property Tax Reduction at the March meeting of the Capital Region Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Wednesday. The panel focused on practical ways to minimize property taxes.

Griffen, the former executive director of the New York State Office of Real Property Services, the State's executive office responsible for the supervision, review and equalization of real property tax assessments in New York State, is an associate in the Albany office of Gilberti Stinziano Heintz & Smith, P.C.
