While attending law school, Mr. Mooney worked as a hydro-geologist and project manager for a large professional services firm. He managed a portfolio of environmental assessment and remediation projects for major petroleum companies, serving as the primary interface between clients and regulatory agencies. In that role, he was responsible for evaluating scientific data, counseling clients on potential liability and assisting with the preparation and negotiation of settlement agreements and regulatory consent orders .
