Mr. Lane's practice involves a wide array of matters pertaining to the acquisition, ownership, development, leasing, financing, management, securitization and disposition of real estate. He has over 20 years of legal experience with real estate, development, and financing.
Mr. Lane combines his financing, real estate and corporate knowledge to provide development clients with the full range of services they need to design, execute and manage projects, from conception to completion. Those services include single and multi-asset purchase and sale agreements; straight leases; lease-leasebacks and sale-leasebacks; financings with various institutional lenders, from commercial banks to the issuance of commercial mortgage-backed securities; joint ventures with corporate, partnership, or limited liability companies; formation of umbrella limited partnerships and private real estate investment trusts; formation of real estate special purpose entities; formation and management of homeowners' and condominium associations; Martin Act filings for sale of interests. Mr. Lane also represents property management and title insurance companies.
Business and real estate are Mr. Lane's passions, which he pursues even outside of his daily professional life. He has established two successful real estate consulting companies and is involved in development projects throughout central and western New York.
