Mr. Roe focuses his practice on the land use, environmental, real estate tax and eminent domain aspects of complex commercial and industrial development projects, as well as appellate practice. He represents private property owners and governmental agencies across the State in connection with acquisitions for public projects, including ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Eminent Domain Procedure Law (EDPL) and the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).

Mr. Roe has represented hundreds of clients in property tax assessment matters, achieving substantial property tax reductions for owners of shopping centers, office buildings, power plants, apartment complexes, industrial buildings, and mineral properties. He is also an experienced appellate practitioner, having served for five years as Principal Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals. He has successfully argued appeals in the Court of Appeals and in the Second, Third and Fourth Departments of the Appellate Division. He has lectured on appellate practice, eminent domain and property valuation issues for the Onondaga County Bar Association, Syracuse University College of Law, members of the Appraisal Institute and the State's right-of-way agents.

Mr. Roe is an accomplished guitarist and an avid music fan. He enjoys performing with other musicians and playing guitar at live venues in the local music scene.
