Mr. Brown's practice focuses primarily on administrative, civil and criminal environmental litigation matters, complex site remediation and development projects, and environmental compliance counseling and related business planning advice.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brown was in private practice, representing clients in matters of compliance with state and federal environmental statutes, state mining law, water quality programs and federal Clean Air Act compliance and permitting issues.

Mr. Brown obtained his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, where he was a post-doctoral fellow and lecturer in law. Mr. Brown is a member of the New York State Bar Association's Environmental Law Section and Municipal Law Section, and the American Bar Association's Natural Resources and Urban, State and Local Government Law Sections.
